Walk, Bike in Wanaka
For the walker the local Department of Conservation office can point you in the direction of halfday, day or multi-day walks close to town or in the nearby Mt Aspiring National Park. If you are a keen mountain biker there are bikes for hire and many interesting trails and it is a great way to enjoy the area.
